Dawn McCarthy and Bonnie "Prince" Billy's newly-released love letter to The Everly Brothers, What the Brothers Sang, was recorded at a studio called The Butcher Shoppe in Nashville, which is owned and operated by Grammy award-winning engineer David Ferguson and singer-songwriter John Prine. Summoning up the magic of others who have recorded there before them (Johnny Cash!!), the duo was joined by musicians Emmett Kelley, Dave Roe, and Kenny Malone, with featured players Billy Contreras, John Mock, Dan Dugmore, Matt Sweeney, Pete Townsend, John Catchings, Bobby Wood, Joey Miskalin, Nils Frykdahl, Ian McAllister, Joey Baron, Dr. Chris Vivio, and Noah Tag.  

Filmmaker Lara Miranda bottled some of that behind-the-scenes magic with this atmospheric short. Enjoy.
