Drive is coming back to the Arclight Hollywood for a week-long run starting Friday, January 6. FilmDistrict is raffling off a scorpion jacket from the movie and 10 prize packs during the Q&A with Albert Brooks after the 7:20pm show in the theater on Friday night, January 6!If tickets are sold out already for the Friday show, fear not. The film will play at the ArcLight through January 12, and the contest will be running all week long on The Drive Facebook page.
Here’s how to enter:
Take a picture of yourself next to the Drive poster in the main lobby of the Arclight Hollywood (by the coffee bar), then post this photo of yourself on the Drive Facebook page NO LATER THAN Thursday night, January 12, 2012.
Easy right?
One random and lucky contestant will win a scorpion jacket, and another 10 people will win Drive prize packs.
Drive comes out on DVD/Blu-ray on January 31, but you can pre-order it now from Amoeba.com (with free shipping to US addresses, of course):

The Drive Soundtrack came out in September and was #65 on the Top 100 Best Seller's list for Amoeba Hollywood in 2011. Pretty impressive for a record that's only 4 months old. Our Amoebloggers have been raving about it too:
Walking into this movie I had no idea that it would be my favorite movie of the year. It was a pleasant surprise. It was one of those movies where the music was just perfect and the music was almost as important as the performances in the movie. It really played a big part of making the movie what it was, from the opening scene to the closing credits. This album is part soundtrack and part score. Cliff Martinez does a great job with the moody '80s score. And the tracks from Italians Do it Better artists Chromatics and Desire fit perfectly in the movie as well. A perfect soundtrack to a perfect film. - Brad Schelden
The year’s best movie also had its best soundtrack, a pack of perfect night-drive pop songs (especially College’s “A Real Hero” ft. Electric Youth), moving into Cliff Martinez’s dark ambient score. - Billy Gil
