Once again this week thanks go out to my man E-Lit at the Amoeba Music Berkeley store for taking time to break down the new releases in video above that make up the all new latest hip-hop top eleven chart (also above) that includes two Quannum family acts -  Lateef The Truthspeaker and DJ Shadow  - Firewire and The Less You Know The Better respectively,  the much heralded new release from Drake Take Care on Cash Money/Universal, Wale's Ambition, Celph Titled & Buckwild's Nineteen Ninety More on No Sleep, Locksmith's Embedded, and gangsta rapper  Webbie's latest Savage Life 3 on the Trill label. Also on the new chart is the (finally out on CD) entertaining 10 Haters album from Flash Bang Grenada (released by Hellfyre Club), Hired Hand's self-titled release on the ever-respected Fake Four label, the unexpected but perfect pairing of Betty Wright & The Roots (Betty Wright: The Movie on S-Curve Records/Ms. B Records), and Young Jeezy's loosely structured group U.S.D.A., who released an official mixtape a few years ago, have just dropped The After Party featuring contributions from Jeezy, Slick Pulla, 2Eleven, and Boo Rossini.

Below are a series of new music videos (plus at very end the recent viral video of crying baby vs Biggie) featuring both artists on the new chart and not. Included are Flash Bang Grenada's Mexicans With Guns' produced "Moisturizer" which seems like a direct dig at videos/songs like the new (also below) Kidz In The Hall's spanking new "Occasion" music video from their album of the same name. Also below are Locksmith and Ski Beatz on the new MURS album,  Constant Deviants' Brooklyn tribute track "Fulton Street" with rapper M.I. and producer DJ Cutt  from their recently released mixtape, Platinum, , Statik Selektah's "Play The Game (feat. Big K.R.I.T. & Freddie Gibbs).

Tomorrow at Amoeba Music San Francisco as part of the ongoing Mandala DJ Series the Horizons Unlimited-The Dj Project & Quest School Of DJ Arts Youth DJ'S will be spinning from 2:00pm to 4:00pm. If you have time and are in SF be sure to stop in and check out the future DJ talents of the Bay Area with veteran Bay Area turntablistmentor DJ Quest overseeing it all.
