Since I write about what I listen to fairly often, this list may be a bit redundant, but consider it a happy round up! This is what was getting to me the most in 2008, whether it was released in 2008 or 1974, whether I'd heard it a zillion times before or it was something new to my ears.

I saw Kenny Rogers recently in Montana - kinda sad. He's no Mick Jagger I'll tell you. Mick can rock on through the night still, but Kenny? Well let's just say that although he has four year old twins, the ramp to get up to the stage was too much of an impediment for him to go down and then back up to do a real encore... Also, it must have been too taxing to sing whole songs cause he sang Coward of the County minus the important middle verse. It lost something in the translation. I was so excited to hear my favorite though, at the very end, Islands in the Stream. Glad you're listening to it too. : )
