I think I saw this on Pay Per View in 1990 or '91. Wish they'd show it on regular TV again. Can't find it anywhere locally. The trailer is really good and I thought it was cute how Bud had a crush on Katie. A fan fic could be written about this, for those of you who like movie follow-ups, like me. Couldn't find any, though, clean or dirty.
Bud kind of reminds me of the James Bond villain "Jaws" played by the 7+ foot tall Richard Kiel with those teeth! Can't remember which movie it was, though.
I coulda sworn the full title to this was C.H.U.D. II: BUD THE CHUD.
Either way, I learned a valuable lesson about straight-to-home sequels *and* deceptive box art with this one back in the day. This film was completely devoid of any redeeming characteristics.
