She'll then dye her hair red and sport a hip cyber-dominatrix uniform while cracking a whip madly with bill is on all fours on a leash in a pink muzzle by her side cranking Warm Leatherette by Grace Jones from a giant 80's boombox.on his back at her second State Of The Union Address.

USC, LAKERS, AND GOOGLE ALL GOOD BETS FOR 2008:
USC win Rose Bowl: In addition to being the Pac-10 champions, USC will beat Illinois in the Rose Bowl on New Year's day.
Google Shares cross $800: In 2007 Google's stock was as low as $437 per share and as high as $747 per share. 2008 will see Google's stock soaring past $800. Don't sleep on the big G.
Lakers in 08' : Bold prediction - the Lakers will be the Western Conference champions only to lose in the NBA Finals. Can't say who they will lose to.

GRAFFITI WILL CONTINUE TO FLOURISH IN 2008:
Despite monumental opposition, graffiti art will continue to flourish, grow in unexpected directions and continue to push the boundaries of contemporary art farther than anyone could imagine.

L A MAYOR FACES BAD YEAR + INDIE LABELS FACE GOOD YEAR:
Due to the continued ineptitude of the major labels, a few real big major label acts will sell their music as a download ala Radiohead, bypassing the major label completely. Some will follow but most will find themselves with strong indie labels that can offer a higher royalty rate and better in-house services. Strong independent labels such as Stones Throw, Nacional and Epitaph/Anti will have more former major label artists coming to them then they can handle.
Los Angeles Mayor Antonio R. Villaraigosa will have to answer to his continued New Yorkrification of Los Angeles. Big problems he’ll have to face in 2008 will be increasing homelessness, general strikes and affordable housing. To top it off, whatever back alley deal he has made with L.A. gangs will come back to bite him in the ass.
The Democrats will take over this year. Despite the general hatred of those flip-flopping, ambiguous Dems, we will all give a collective sigh when they defeat the Republicans.
Kobe Bryant will still leave Los Angeles, despite having a great team of new comers that will get them deep into the playoffs. L.A. will say, "good riddance"
Reggae En Espanol will make it's first real big commercial push, taking some of Reggaeton fire. Cumbia will become popular with the with non-latino audience as reggae, electonica and hip-hop artists will make Cumbia remixes of their popular songs. Also we will see more reissues of hard to find Cumbia songs.

well I'm 2 out of 3 so far. Never thought that my Lakers prediction would actually come true. Kind of bummed and was hoping that the prediction wouldn't come true (e.g they would win the whole thing). Now let's see if google does what I think it will do in the 3rd and 4th quarter.
You guys blow my mind! I love the predictions, though my feminist aspect got in a bit of a scackle over my beloved Tim Ranow sexualizing the first female Presidential candidate in the history of our country that could be a contendah! But to be honest, I once had a dream about Hillary that I can't really talk about here, and to be really blunt I also had one about Steve Buscemi. So if I had a point at all, it is lost utterly in the memories of the very very few times I have woken up feeling all funny. So. NICE BLOG!
