
Apparently this happens more often then you’d think on the Terschelling beaches. Last year thousands of tennis shoes, aluminum briefcases and children's toys washed ashore, I hope it was Saint Nicholas day.

I wonder, does this make the people happy? (Yay! Free bananas! Free shoes!) or if it's just litter that the fish and friends choke on? With all of this Bay Area oil spill going on, makes you wonder how far we will go to choke this planet ...
