Today Is Our Birthday!

We're Gonna Have A Good Time!

Today is the 10th Anniversary of the opening of Amoeba San Francisco! A good time was had by all, as we toasted our employees, new and old, in San Fran style-- with champagne, Papalote and Tres Leches cake.

There are still 28 employees that have been here for that entire time, if you can believe it!

Original employees, we salute you:

Tony Green told me that he remembers driving in to work that first day from the East Bay and completely missing the exit off of the Bay Bridge. It was raining really hard apparently. He ended up in South San Francisco, totally lost! Eventually he did of course make it to Amoeba and he's really been here ever since. He also told me that on that opening day the sun came out just as the store opened. Awwwww.....

happy birthday!!! it all looked so amazing. sorry i couldn't be there to share in all that...! and from those of us who were there that fateful day 10 years ago...we're still with ya! you guys are keeping the spirit alive every day. love and congratulations from jimmy, karen, roxx, beaver, daniel, lisa, chris matthews....the november 15th crew in the hiz-ouse! (and michael p. and countryman who were there that day too!) happy 10th!

Tony Green....you haven't changed or aged a bit....pleased to see you looking so good.
I am going to be in San Fran in june...would love to catch up with you...we are staying at the Mark Twain
for 4 days from June 13th and then returning for parade...send me an email at gembro@gmail.com.
My partner Pete is going over for WWDC the week before.
