Like Bruce Springsteen, Austin roots rocker Escovedo is a musician's musician, faithfully chronicling love and loss on the darker side of town with heart, intelligence, and unshakable commitment, and always playing more to his fans than to the charts. So it's no surprise that the Boss shows up for a duet on Escovedo's tenth solo album, along with Ian Hunter, but the show here is all Alejandro and his whipcrack backing band, the Sensitive Boys.
